David is a North Carolina native and grew up in the triangle area. His practice areas include business and corporate law, commercial transactions, commercial and residential real estate including purchase and lease transactions, wills & trusts, and estate planning and administration.
David attended Appalachian State University where he graduated cum laude and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, concentrating in Town, City & County Government, with a minor in Planning and Zoning. While at Appalachian State, David was a member of Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, Pi Gamma Mu, ASU Inter Fraternity Counsel, the Order of Omega, and the Delta Chi Fraternity where he served as president of his chapter and received the Delta Chi Fraternity National Merit Award in 1990.
After college, David attended law school at Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. His honors and awards at Campbell included: Campbell Law Review, Prince Evidence National Moot Court Team, School of Law Academic Scholarship, Order of the Kivette, Who’s Who Among American Law Students, and the Branch Banking & Trust Company Will Drafting and Estate Planning Award.
